Medomak Family Camp
The client needed to put a face to their family vacation. While they had a robust website and vivid photography, the missing ingredient was storytelling: the families who had fallen in love with and made this camp an annual family tradition.
Open Window Creative Strategies interviewed clients and created short stories for the web and for media pitches about families who were long-time vacationers at the family camp that would help the client market to target audiences, such as families who had never experienced family camp before, and intergenerational families looking for a way to spend time together. Photos were gathered from the client families to bring authenticity to the stories. Newcomers to the website can get a fuller experience about the camp that can help in their decision-making; the clients have ready-made stories to pitch to the press.
The client needed an attractive marketing piece that kept them top of mind for potential clients, but that would be cost effective to produce and not likely be tossed. Four distinctly designed and messaged postcards targeted for different audiences were printed together for cost savings. Open Window also served as counsel of media buys and other marketing, promotion, and messaging work.
